You are invited to come and explore a new and vital ministry as a prayer intercessor. Intercession is best described as A prayer of petition which leads us to pray as Jesus did. He is the one intercessor with the Father on behalf of all men, especially sinners. He is “able for all time to save those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. Since Abraham, intercession – asking on behalf of another has been characteristic of a heart attuned to God’s mercy. In intercession, he who prays looks “not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” (CCC 2634-35)

We will meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. in the St. Teresa Calcutta room in the parish social hall. For More Information Contact Denise Gorski, Pastoral Minister 734-283-1366 x112 • dgorski@stcyprian.com

New Bible Study Series Begins Wednesday, May 8, 2019

Beginning on Wednesday, May 8 our bible study will focus on the Acts of the Apostles, in order to embrace the wisdom and counsel God is speaking to us through Sacred Scripture and in relation to our Catholic faith and Tradition. The Acts of the Apostles reveals the powerful action of God in history laying open the hearts of all people to the divine message of salvation through the evangelistic mission of the Apostles. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the early Christian communities are stirred to proclaim the great Kerygma of Jesus Christ to all and minister to people through mighty acts, signs and wonders in His Holy Name. If you’re looking to grow in your openness to the Holy Spirit and in appreciation of his mighty gifts please join us! We meet on Wednesday’s from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. in the St. Nicholas room.   For More Information Contact Denise Gorski, Pastoral Minister 734-283-1366 x112 dgorski@stcyprian.com
