Parishioners visit our local area assisted living and nursing facilities weekly and offer Communion services to residents.
Homebound parishioners receive weekly visits and Communion in their homes.
Volunteers prepare and/or serve lunch at the All Saints Soup Kitchen in Detroit. This is a bi-monthly event and is announced in the Connection and on our website.
This is an international society of lay persons which promote a spirit of justice and charity. The St. Cyprian Conference meets monthly. Food distributions take place weekly, in emergencies, and prior to holidays. Assistance and referrals are given for rent, utilities, medical, social services and similar emergencies. Food Pantry: Non-perishable food and household items are collected and distributed
to needy families and persons the first and third Wednesday of each month from
10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. During the holidays, special baskets are also distributed.
In the summer months, we are blessed with fresh produce from the volunteers
at the Trenton Community Garden.
The parish participates in purchasing Christmas gifts for area families in need. Names and requested gifts are placed on the Giving Tree to be selected by parishioners; wrapped gifts are then brought to the parish on a specific weekend for distribution.
Plastic bags are collected and prepared for a recycling process.
The parish is the city of Riverview site for monthly USDA food distribution.
